The Tri-County Office on Aging 28th Annual Meals On Wheels Charity Golf Outing was held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Michigan State University’s Forest Akers West Golf Course. Despite an unexpected location change, the event was a success by all accounts, raising over $27,000 to help fund home delivered meals and other in-home supports for older adults. This is a slight increase in proceeds over last year.
Just over 140 golfers participated in the event, with over 20 volunteers working at stations to keep the event running smoothly.
