The federal government is providing free COVID-19 rapid tests to all households. Go to COVIDTests.gov to request 4 free test kits to be mailed to homes. It’s quick and easy. Individuals are encouraged to request the tests now so you have them before you may need them.
When to use an at home test:
- if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
- if exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 (ideally 5 days after exposure or after experiencing symptoms)
- prior to or after traveling
- prior to or after attending a large gathering
