In August 2020, the Ingham County electorate authorized a county-wide elder services millage level of 3/10 one mill for a period of 4 years (2020-2023) to be used for the purpose of authorizing funding to eliminate wait lists and expanding critical services such as in-home care, meals on wheels and crisis services to support the growing population of persons aged 60 and older residing in Ingham County. In August 2024, Ingham County voters voted to renew the millage for another four-year period.
